A gentle hum sustains a drone and never changes. It can only just be heard sustaining a low frequency. In the distance a quiet roar passes from left to right. It doesn’t sustain one pitch, but many as it rumbles between them. It is a very smooth sound, and as it centres, its gets louder and more dense, before it continues to pass right and fade out to nothing.
The gentle hum returns before a sharp and loud mid-range pitch startles the relaxed hum that continues to sound. It continues for a second before dissipating into nothing. It also sustained one general pitch, but had a much higher frequency. The gentle drone slowly starts to come back into hearing after the sharp sound echoes for a few seconds after. A new sound comes in, a peaceful howling, at a high pitch melds in with the low drone, creating a new texture. The howling starts and stops, crescendo-ing and decrescendo-ing in and out of existence. With this howling brings a disjointed sound, hundreds, or thousands of little, light objects creating a quiet timbre. Each one stops and starts, creating a rippled sound that stops soon after the howling ends. Throughout all this, the low drone can still be faintly heard in the background.
